X Ray Fluorescence

Suzhou LANScientific Co.,Ltd | Updated: Sep 19, 2017
XRF: X-ray fluorescence spectrometry a secondary X-ray is called X-ray fluorescence (-fluorescence) that is usually produced by x-rays, and the X-rays used for irradiation are called primary X-rays. So X-ray fluorescence is still X-rays. A typical X-ray fluorescence (XRF) instrument is composed of an excitation source (X-ray tube) and a detection system. The X-ray tube produces an incident X-ray (X-ray) to excite the measured sample. Each element in the stimulated sample emits two X-rays, and the two X-rays emitted by different elements have specific energy characteristics or wavelength characteristics. The detection system measures the energy and quantity of these two x-rays emitted. The instrument software then converts the information collected by the detection system into the kinds and content of the various elements in the sample. X-rays are the secondary X-rays produced by the material, called X-ray fluorescence. By using X-ray fluorescence theory, we can theoretically measure each element of beryllium in the periodic table. In practical applications, the effective element measurement range is element 9th (F) to element 92nd (U).
